The “PEP” model combines multiple dimensions: trusted support, personal empowerment, fiduciary duties, client service offerings, and underlying technologies, into one comprehensive framework.
The PEP model lays out three separate zones (Protection, Enhancement, Promotion),
along with ascending degrees of fiduciary protection and agential tech:
Trusted data guardian: duty of care (no harm)
Online mediator: duty of loyalty (no conflicts)
Web advocate: duty of loyalty (promote best interests)
